students' boxes etc 355 BOXES AND DRAWERS FOR BOOKS CAPS AND GOWNS DRAWINGS &c AVith the view of enabling Students effectually to take care of their Books Caps and Gowns and other articles belonging to them boxes are placed in the Corridors leading out from the Entrance Hall and in the Lobby leading to the Anatomical Department as well as in the Class-rooms of the School Drawers are also placed in the Military Class-room and in the Drawing-room II Student may engage one of these boxes or drawers for the period of his Academical Residence provided this does not exceed four years for the sum of Ten Shillings payable upon the key being delivered to him Of this sum Five Shillings will be returned to the Student upon his leaving College and giving up possession of his box or drawer pro- vided the key thereof be duly returned but if the key be not returned before the Student leaves College the Five Shillings will be forfeited Medical Student having one box in the Upper Corridor in which to put his cap and gown &c may if he thinks fit have second box in the lobby of the Anatomical Department for his instruments &c He will be charged five shillings only for the second box two shillings and sixpence to be returned on giving up the key III Each Student will be required to pay for any injury which his box or drawer may sustain but no Tradesman must be brought in to repair such injury without an order from the Secretary's Office IV duplicate key of each box and drawer is kept by the Secretary No duplicate key is allowed to be made under any cir- cumstances by Student VI In the event of any Pupil losing his key he will be required to pay 2s 6d for new lock broken key will be replaced at cost price if brought to the Secretary's office VII In order more effectually to protect the property of Students no other boxes or drawers except those provided by the College are permitted to be used ζ
