EVENING CLASSES 283 II In each Class for which not less than 10 Students have entered there will be offered Prize or Certificate of honour at his option to the Student who shall be highest in the examination Certificates of Merit One Certificate to each of the Students next in succession who shall gain not less than three-fifths of the marks allotted to the subject III Whenever Class is divided into two or more divisions each division will be treated as distinct Class as regards Prizes and Certificates IV There is also an examination on each subject at the close of each Summer Session and Certificates of Merit are then given to all who obtain three-fifths of the whole number of marks The Prizes and Certificates are open to ALL Students of the Evening Classes VI No Prize or Certificate can be awarded unless earned by- Regular and punctual attendance Good conduct Absolute merit in the examination VII The highest number of marks assigned to each sub- ject is 100 The standard for "absolute merit which alone will carry Prize or Certificate of Honour is 75 The standard for Certificates of Merit is 60 VIII The Prizes and Certificates are given at an Evening Meeting held at the close of the Winter Session by the Lord Bishop of London or by some other member of the Council IX Certificates of having College prize made out under the signatures of the Principal and Secretary may be obtained by application at the College Office Fee 2s 6d for each Certificate
