212 MEDICAL DEPARTMENT To perform all Medical and Surgical post-mortem Examinations unless the Physician or Surgeon wish to per- form such Examination himself In the absence of the Physician or Surgeon to point out to the Students the morbid appearances and other circum- 3tances worthy of notice In the absence of the Physician or Surgeon to dictate during the progress of the post-mortem to the Clinical Clerk or Dresser under whose charge the patient has been the morbid appearances and particulars to be recorded in the case book To enter in book kept for the purpose called the tw mortem book an abstract of each fatal case in prescribed order and the particulars of the post-mortem examination To be responsible for the safe keeping of such specimens as require preservation for the purposes of the Museum or Lectures at the College To dissect and prepare for the Museum all speiimens that the Museum Committee shall direct To post in the Museum Catalogue succinct description of each new preparation with reference in case of speci- mens brought from the Hospital to the particulars in the post-mortem book The post-mortem book is to be kept in the Museum of the College for reference Operations -The area of the theatre shall be reserved for the medical officers including those resident the in-patient dressers and such visitors as are specially introduced by the operating Surgeon The first row of the theatre shall be re- served for the remaining dressers and the clinical clerks Midwifery Pupils who have previously attended Course of Lectures are provided with large number of cases of Mid- wifery The patients are attended at their own houses in the neighbourhood of the Hospital under the superintendence of the Physician Accoucheur and Physician's Assistant
