316 THE SCHOOL The payments for all Scholarships are made quarterly and the amount due may be applied for in the Secretary's office any day succeeding the second Friday in the months of January April July and October Inglts 5c 0Iarst1ij These Scholarships are open to Pupils of the School See page 93 Such Pupils as may wish to compete for these Scholarships are admitted on the recommendation of the Head Master to the Special Lectures in History and English Literature at the reduced fee of Is per Term See note at page 90 jFtrst Class £tf 0lare5ipe Two Scholarships each year of £30 each tenable for three years one or pro- ficiency in Classics and the oilier for proficiency in Mathematics These Scholarships are open to all Pupils who having been four complete Terms in the School were not eighteen years of age on the lst of January preceding the election These two Scholarships are tenable together -The examinations for these Scholarships embrace all the subjects taught in the respective Divisions to which they are attached SeronK Class 5rt 0Iarsf i1 Four Scholarships ecery year of £20 each one for each division of the School and two for proficiency in Mathematics These Scholarships are open to all Pupils who having been in the School four complete Terms were not sixteen years of age on the lst of January preceding the election Either of these Division Scholarships is tenable with Mathematical Scholarship
