MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 203 Section XII Saniell £cljol3r6f ip This Scholarship has been founded in honour of the late Daniell Esq Professor of Chemistry in this College Its object is to encourage the prosecution of original research in Chemistry This Scholarship is of the annual value of 20 and is tenable for two years It is given every second year and is open to every Student of the College whether matriculated ox occasional It is awarded to the Student who shall have executed the best series of researches in the Laboratory of King's College during the two years immediately preceding the election for six months of which time he must have been pupil in the Laboratory The next Scholarship will be awarded at Easter 1861 The Papers of all Candidates must be placed in the hands of the Secretary by four o'clock on Monday March 18 1861 after which time no document will be received Section XIII Cfie Driimpal'e Stepljen $Iumptre attlr 23asent tyxi tt These prizes are open to all Matriculated Students not being Associates of this Department See pp 99-101 ill Prifi Dr Walter Battershell Gill an Associate of this Department gives an Annual Prize in books of the value of 31 3s to the Student who stands next in order of merit after the successful candidates for the Junior Medical Scholarships Section XIV Class $rtfes College Clinieal $rifee Certificates of honour iHerit atrti atteirtanee Prizes are awarded for proficiency in the several subjects of Anatomy Physiology Chemistry Materia Medica Surgery
