evening classes 245 German Italian Rev Dr Wintzer Professor Pistrucci English Language Composi- Henry MoRLEY Esq Asso- Arithmetic and Book-keeping James Haddon Esq Principles of Commerce Professor Leone Levi Economic Science and Statistics Rev Professor Rogers The Elements of Chemistry Professor Bloxam Natural Philosophy and Optics Professor Goodeve At the close of each Winter Session Examinations are held in each subject Prizes and Certificates of Honour and Merit are then given Prize will be given to each of the first Students who gain the highest aggregate number of Marks in all the sub- jects including Divinity which they respectively bring up for examination at the end of the Winter Session provided only that no Prize will be given for less aggregate than 300 marks II In each Class for which not less than 10 Students have entered there will be offered Prize to the Student who shall be highest in the examination Certificates of Merit One Certificate to each of the Students next in succession who shall gain not less than three-fifths of the marks allotted to the subject III In each Class in which less than 10 but at least Students have entered there will be offered Certificate of Honour to the Student who shall be Mathematics Drawing Professor De La Motte IX Prizes and Certificates highest in the examination
