180 MEDICAL DEPARTMENT The examination papers in Medicine and Surgery will comprise questions on cases which have occurred in the Wards of the Hospital during the Winter Session Junior Scholarships Anatomy of the Bones Muscles and Ligaments and of the Viscera of the Abdomen and Thorax General Anatomy and Physiology of the Organs of Loco- motion Digestion and Circulation Inorganic Chemistry Heat and Static Electricity Cicero de Officiis Second-Year Scholarship Anatomy Physiology Organic Chemistry Light Electricity Botany Materia Medica -Attendance on Course or Courses of Lectures on Botany or Chemistry by Pupil of any other Department of the College whether Matriculated or Occasional does not prevent such Pupil if he afterwards enter as Matriculated Medical Student from competing for the Medical Scholar- ships with Students of the same standing in the Medical Department as himself Section XII Uantell ri 0Iars1 ip This Scholarship has been founded in honour of the late Daniell Esq Professor of Chemistry in this College Its object is to encourage the prosecution of original research in Chemistry This Scholarship is of the annual value of 20 and is tenable for two years It is given every second year and is open to every Student of the College whether matriculated or occasional It is awarded to the Student who shall have executed the best series of researches in the Laboratory of King's College during
