MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 171 No one can be Candidate who has exceeded his fourth year of attendance at the Medical Lectures of the College and no Student who has obtained the first Prize in one year can be Candidate in any subsequent year The next Examination will take place on Monday and Tuesday Oct 10 and 11 1859 on the first day in Medicine on the second day in Theology The names of all Candidates must be sent in writing to the Secretary of the College before four o'clock on Monday October 1859 after which hour no name will be received The subjects for the Divinity part of this Examination in 1859 will be- The History of the Jews from the Babylonish Captivity to the Death of Herod the Great The two Epistles to the Thessalonians Bishop Butler's Analogy Part Chap ii iii Part II Chap vi The subjects for the Divinity part of this Examination in 1860 will be- The History of Israel from the Death of Joshua to the Accession of Rehoboam The Gospel according to St John Bishop Butler's Analogy Part Chap vi Part II Chap ii vi aaaamrforlr gcljolarsfiq Eniatomrnt The late Rev Samuel Wilson Warneford LL having been pleased in November 1851 to present to the College the sum of Five Thousand Pounds for the foundation of Medical Scholarships and to lay down certain Rules for the guidance of the Council in awarding such Scholarships The Council hereby give notice that the following are the Rules under which Scholars on this Foundation are to be elected
