applied sciences 35 Separate Prizes will be given for Divinity for Manu- facturing Art for Drawing for Surveying and for the Work- shop The Scholarship Prizes and Certificates will be open to all Matriculated Students of this Department who are at least in their second Term but who have not exceeded three Terms either in this Department or in this Department and in that of General Literature taken together The Scholarship will also be open to all Pupils of King's College School or of one of the Schools in union with the College who have been two years in such School and have attained the age of sixteen Such candidates however if successful must immediately matriculate at the College The payments will commence in the October succeeding the election and will be continued quarterly during one year pro- vided the Scholar during the three months preceding each Quarter-day the months of July August and September excepted has continued to attend lectures as Matriculated Student of the College No Scholarship Prize or Certificate will be given except for absolute merit Certificates of having obtained College prize made out under the signatures of the Principal and Secretary may be obtained by application at the College Office Fee for each Certificate 2s 6d Section VIII king's college engineering society President for 1859-60 -H worms The object of this Society is to enable Students of this Department to meet together for the purpose of discussing questions and reading papers on subjects connected with the profession The Society holds its Meetings every Tuesday at 30
