general literature and science 75 limited number of Students are admitted to reside within the College see page 277 and some of the Professors as well as others connected with the College receive Students in their own houses See page 280 Dinner is provided in the College Hall every day at Six o'clock for such Students as may wish to avail themselves of this accommodation See page 281 II Occasional Students or those who being unable to attend the whole course are desirous of studying any par- ticular subject Every class is open to such Students on payment of the specified amount of fees See page 77 Section III THE ASSOCIATESHIP Regulations and Requirements Every Candidate for this distinction- Must have been regular in his attendance at Chapel unless specially exempted by the Principal on the ground of living at long distance from the College and at the Divinity Lectures II Must have pursued his studies as Matriculated Student of this Department for nine Terms This period is reduced to six Terms in the case of those who have passed three Terms previously in any other Department of the College or who have passed two years previously either in King's College School or one of the Schools in Union and who had spent at least one Term in the highest class of that School before leaving it III Must produce Certificate of proficiency in study as evinced by either Scholarship or two Prizes one Prize and two Certificates of Honour one Prize and three Certificates of Merit
