260 THE SCHOOL fifth class scholarships The Gospel of St Matthew Excerpta ex Ovidio 140-148 Initia Graeca Fables Greek and Latin Grammars History of Rome sixth class scholarship The Gospel of St Matthew Latin Grammar and Reader Anecdotes History and Geography of England Section XIV choral exhibitions Twelve boys being the sons either of Clergymen or of members of the learned professions are elected by the Council Choral Exhibitioners of this College Their duties are to sing daily during Term in the College Chapel at the Evening Service and twice on Sunday in addition to giving such attendance for practice as the Director of the Choir shall appoint In con- sideration of these services they will receive free education in the School including instruction in Music The Entrance Fees together with the terminal payments for Stationery Books and the Scholarship Fund will still have to be paid The engagement of the College to give free education will con- tinue binding as long as the pupil merits by good behaviour the distinction of being Choral Exhibitioner and as long as in the judgment of the Professor of Vocal Music he is fitted to take part in the Chapel choir Candidates must be under the age of Ten unless with the advantage of previous musical training
