THE SCHOOL 249 At the commencement of each Term every Pupil is required to bring to the Secretary's Office the amount due by him to the College in exchange for which he will receive card of admission for that Term Upon entering the Sixth Class eacl Pupil is called upon to contribute Ten Shillings to the School Library Pupils of all the Classes in both Divisions can obtain the use of boxes in which to keep their books &c See page 282 Section BOOKS All books in use in King's College School are the property of the College and are supplied to the boys from the Secretary's Office on payment of the following Fees Ā£ Lower Sixth Fifth Upper and Lower per Term Fourth Classes Division and Third Second Upper andl 34 Lower First Classes These Fees entitle each boy to full set of the books in ordinary use in his Class This rule does not apply to the Upper Sixth Class but Pupils in that Class wishing to compound may retain at the cost above mentioned the use of such books as they received in the Lower Sixth but no others will be supplied to them The following are the rules and regulations under which such books are lent Each Pupil will be held responsible for the due care and safe keeping of the books supplied to him All books supplied to Pupils remain the sole property of the Council of King's College London and are on no account to be lent or made use of except for College purposes
