MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 155 Every Student must at the beginning of each Session make application to the Sub-Dean for written order for admission to such Lectures as he proposes to attend This order will be exchanged in the Secretary's office for cards which cards must afterwards be countersigned first by the Sub-Dean and secondly by the respective Professors The card for Hospital attendance must also be brought to the Sub-Dean for signature at the beginning of each Winter and Summer Session The attendance of each Student at Chapel and Lectures is regularly marked At the close of each division of the Winter Session and at the close of the Summer Session the Sub-Dean prepares Report of the attendance general character and conduct of each Student which is forwarded to his Parent or Guardian by the Dean after being submitted to and signed by the Principal All Certificates must be obtained from the Sub-Dean at the close of each Session Students are requested to give in their Schedules to the Sub-Dean as soon as they can procure them from the Hall and the College The Medical Library is open daily to all Students of this Department for the purposes of study see page 152 they also have the use of the General Library see page 276 limited number of Students are admitted to reside within the College see page 277 and list of gentlemen autho- rized by the Council to receive Medical Students as boarders into their houses will be found at page 280 There is Dining Hall in the College for the accommodation of Resident and other Students of the College see page 281 Boxes are provided in the Corridors of the College in which Students may keep their Caps and Gowns Books &c See page 282 Stationery of all kinds may be obtained in the Secretary's office at moderate prices
