236 THE SCHOOL SeconU Class StSoIarsflips Two Scholarships each year of £20 each lettable for two years These Scholarships are open to all Pupils who having been in the School four complete Terms were not sixteen years of age on the 1st of January preceding the election One Scholarship to be given for proficiency in Classics an Examination in the first Book of Euclid in Arithmetic and in the first four rules of Algebra having first been satisfactorily passed The other Scholarship to be given for proficiency in Mathe- matics an Examination in one Latin and one Greek author or in the case of Pupils of the Modern Instruction Division one Latin and one French author to be fixed by the Head Master having first been satisfactorily passed These two Scholarships are tenable together Cfiitlr Class Sciolarsitps One Scholarship each year of £10 tenable for two years for the Division of Classics £ One Scholarship each year of £10 tenable for two years for the Division of Modern Inslructhn These Scholarships are open to all Pupils who having been in the School three complete Terms were not fifteen years of age on the 1st of January preceding the Election Ν The Examinations for these Scholarships embrace all the subjects taught in the respective Divisions to which they are attached Jfourtfi Class ScfioIarsSip One Scholarship each year of £8 tenable for two years This Scholarship is open to all Pupils who having been three complete Terms in the School were not fourteen years of age on the 1st of January preceding the Election
