116 applied sciences Department with credit for nine Terms are entitled to be recommended to the Council for election as Associates of King's College II It will suffice that Student applying for the Associate- ship shall have passed six Terms in the Department to which he belongs at the time of the application provided he have passed three Terms previously in any other Department of the College III The term of study in the College required to gain the Associateship from the Department of Applied Sciences is reduced to six Terms in the case of those Students who have previously passed too years in King's College School and who had passed at least one Term in the highest class of either Division before leaving it In this case however the candi- date for the Associateship must bring Certificate of having attended the Class of Practical Chemistry for three Terms as well as one Course on Photography and must have paid the fees for The Arts of Construction ן Practical Chemistry for one year Photography for one Course in addition to the regular fees for six Terms IV An Associate cannot be elected Scholar or obtain Prize in the Department in which he gained his Associateship -For the privileges of an Associate see page 287 but an Associate of this Department is not free to attend the Workshop without payment of the usual fees Section fees The Fees payable by Matriculated Students amount to 12 17s per Term including the Engineering Workshops Upon entrance the Fees for the first two Terms must be paid in advance in addition to the following £3 Matriculation Fee including Library 10 Cap and Gown The Calendar £4 15
