20G CIVIL SERVICE AND COMMERCE pations may not allow tliem to attend the whole of the Course but who may wish to avail themselves of the opportunity of studying any particular subject Section THE ASSOCIATESHIP Students who have pursued their studies in this Depart- ment with credit for three years who have been regular in their attendance at Chapel and at the Divinity Lectures are entitled to be recommended to the Council for election as Associates of King's College See 271 for the privileges of an Associate II It will suffice that Student applying for the Associate- ship shall have passed two years in the Department to which he belongs at the time of his application provided he have passed one year previously in any other Department of the College III The term of study in the College required to gain the Associateship is reduced to two years in the case of those Students who have previously passed two years in King's College School and who had reached the Upper Sixth Class before leaving it IV An Associate of this Department cannot obtain one of the Class Prizes Section VI fees The Fees payable by Matriculated Students amount to £12 2s per Term the Fees for the first two Terms being aid upon entrance except under special circumstances in addition to the following £3 Matriculation Fee including Library 110 Cap and Gown The Calendar £4 15
