medical department 143 Section the ASSOC1ATESH1P At the end of each Winter Session the Professors lay before the Council the names of those Medical Students horn they recommend to be elected Associates of King's College London on account of general good conduct regularity of attendance at the Chapel service and the Divinity Lectures at the classes in the College and at the Hospital and professional acquirements For the attain- ment of this distinction All Candidates Must have studied four years at Kind's College in the manner recommended by the Professors see page 136 or must have studied Three Winter and Three Summer Sessions at King's College and afterwards have obtained the Diploma or Licence of some recognised examining bodv II Must have obtained some one of the following dis- tinctions Scholarship Two Prizes in different subjects the Leathes and Warneford Prizes to count The office of Assistant Demonstrator of Anatomy of Physician's Assistant or of House Surgeon served with distinction together with one prize or the oflices of Dresser and Clinical Clerk conjointly served with distinction together with one prize The having obtained after leaving the College an Hospital appointment in London or the provinces or other professional distinction Candidates for this distinction must communicate their wishes to the Dean in writing on or before the 31st March in each year For the privileges of an Associate see page 2Γ1
