MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 17 Divinity The First and Second Books of Kings Ezra and Nehemiah the Gospel according to St Luke and the First and Second Epistles of St Peter Butler's Analogy Part Chaps ii iv vii Part II Chaps iii iv Bishop Nicholson on the Church Catechism II Hospital Practice Candidates will be required at the time of examination To write from memory the particulars of four cases which shall have been treated in the Hospital during the previous Academical Year Each Can- didate may select Ids own cases but no two cases selected by him may be taken from the practice of the same Physician or Surgeon To ive in writing with the aid of notes taken by himself at the time the substance of four of the Clinical Lectures which shall havebcen delivered in the Hospital by the Medical Officers thereof during the previous Academical Year The cases to be selected by the Examiners To answer cither viva voce or in writing as the Examiners may direct four questions on cases which shall have occurred or been treated within the Hospital in the practice of the Physicians and Surgeons thereof in the current Session The examination will commence on Monday July 23 1S55 and the names of all Candidates must be sent in writing to the Secretary accompanied by the necessary Certificates before three o'clock on Monday July 10 One hundred marks are in the examination for these Scholar- ships assigned to each of the great subjects viz Divinity and Hospital Practice Any Candidate failing to get 50 marks in Divinity is thereby absolutely disqualified from further ex- animation and no Scholarship will be awarded to any
