132 MEDICAL Ε PARTMEא Τ that at the close of the Winter Session being followed public distribution of Prizes Every Student must at the beginning of each Session make application to the Dean for written order for admission to such Lectures as he proposes to attend This order will be exchanged in the Secretary's office for cards which cards muq afterwards be countersigned first by the Dean of the Medical Department and secondly by the respective Professors The card for Hospital attendance must also be brought to the Dean for signature at the beginning of each Winter and Summer Session The attendance of each Student at Chapel and Lectures IS regularly marked At the close of each division of tho Winter Session and of the Summer Session the Dean pre- pares Report of the attendance general character and con- duct of every Student which is forwarded to his Parent or Guardian alter being submitted to the Principal All certificates must be obtained from the Dean at the close of each Session Students are requested to give in their Schedules to the Dean as soon as they procure them from the Hall and the College The Medical Library is open daily to all Students of this Department for the purposes of study see page 12S they also have the use of the General Library see page 239 limited number of Students are admitted to reside within the College see page 210 and list of gentlemen audio- rized by the Council to receive Medical Students as boarders into their houses will be found at page 213 There is Dining Hall in the College for the accom- modation of Resident and other Students of the College see age 14 Boxes are provided in the Corridors of the College in which Students may keep their Caps and Gowns Books &c See page 245 Stationery of all kinds may be obtained in the SecretaryJs office at moderate prices This arrangement is made in order that all examinations and exercises given up to the Professors may be written upon uniform paper
