medical department Ν Β -Attendance on Course or Courses of Lectures 011 Botany or Chemistry by Pupil of any other Department of the College whether Matriculated or Occasional does not prevent such Pupil if he afterwards enter a3 Medical Student from competing for the Medical Scholarships with Students of the same standing in the Medical Department as himself Hant'cII $rijola1Bl tp This Scholarship has been founded in honour of the late Daniell Esq Professor of Chemistry in this College Its object is to encourage the prosecution of original research in Chemistry This Scholarship is ofthe annual value of 20 and is tenable for two years It is given every second year and is open to every Student of the College whether matriculated or occasional It is awarded to the Student who shall have executed the best series of researches in the Laboratory of King's College during the two years immediately preceding the election for six months of which time he must have been pupil in the Laboratory The next Scholarship will be awarded at Easter 1854 The Papers of all Candidates must be placed in the hands of the Secretary by four oJclock on Saturday April 1854 after which time no document will be received Section XIII £trpf rn antr piumptw $n e0 The Stephen prize for an English Essay is open to all Matriculated Students of this Department See pp 73 and 79 The Plumptre Prizes for English Verse are open to all Matriculated Students of this Department See pp 74 and 79 κ
