130 MEDICAL DEPARTMENT To this sura all parents are strongly recommended to add the amount of Fees payable for one year's instruction by the Medical Tutor All Resident Students are required to enter to the Tutor's Class for their first year The Fees payable by Matriculated Students for perpetual admission to every course of instruction given in this Depart- ment except the class of Analytical Chemistry and the Medical Tutor including the Hospital amount to £107 2s Payment of Fees may be made either in one sum upon Ma- triculation or in two equal sums the one at the commence- ment of the Winter Session October 1st and the other after the Christmas Vacation not later than the 21st January unless other arrangements are made at the time of admission The following Fees must also be paid at the time of Matri- dilation Matriculation Fee Library Fee Subscription to the Scholarship Fund Cap and Gown Calendar £4 15 £1 10 Arrangements have been made for apprenticing upon moderate terms such Students as maybe intended for General Practice to Member of the Society of Apothecaries resident in the immediate neighbourhood of the Hospital and for affording the requisite instruction in Practical Pharmacy Medical officers of the Army and Navy both in the Queen's service and in that of the East India Company are admitted gratuitously to the Hospital and to all the Lectures delivered in the Medical Department upon bringing recommendation from the heads of their respective departments Students of the Royal Academy are admitted gratuitous ν to the Lectures on Anatomy upon bringing recommendation from member or from an Associate of the Academy
