196 the SCHOOL niatics an Examination in one Latin and one Greek author or in the case of Pupils of the Modern Instruction Division one Latin and one German author to be fixed by the Head Master having first been satisfactorily passed These two Scholarships are tenable together cr011& Class ct 0Iarsi 1ps Two Scholarships each year of £20 each tenable for two years These Scholarships are open to all Pupils who having been in the School four complete Terms were not sixteen years of age on the 1st of January preceding the election One Scholarship to be given for proficiency in Classics an Examination in the first Book of Euclid in Arithmetic and the first four rules of Algebra having first been satisfactorily passed The other Scholarship to be given for proficiency in Mathe- matics an Examination in one Latin and one Greek author or in the case of Pupils of the Modern Instruction Division one Latin and one French author to be fixed by the Head Master having first been satisfactorily passed These two Scholarships are tenable together CijuD Class rfjolarsinpfi One Scholarship each year of £10 tenable for two years for the Division of Classics One Scholarship each year of £10 tenable for two years for the Division of Modern Instruction These Scholarships are open to all Pupils who having been in the School three complete Terms were not fifteen years of age on the 1st of January preceding the Election Ν The Examinations for these Scholarships embrace all the subjects taught in the respective Divisions to whicl they are attached
