161 MEDICAL DEi'AKTM culation Examination subsequently studied at recognised Medical School for two years Dissected during nine months attended course of Practical Cheniistry attended to Practical Pharmacy attended course of Lectures on four of the subjects in the annexed List -Descriptive and Surgical Anatomy General Anatomy and Physiology Comparative Anatomy Putho- logical Anatomy Chemistry Botany Materia Medica and Pharmacy General Pathology General Therapeutics Forensic Medicine Hygiene Midwifery and Diseases of Women and Children Surgery Medicine The subjects for Examination are Anatomy Physiology Chemistry Botany Materia Medica and Pharmacy The amount of fees 51 Those who are placed in the First Class in this Examination may go in for honours the fol- lowing week and will be examined in any or all of these subjects viz Anatomy and Physiology Chemistry Materia Medica and Pharmaceutical Chemistry Structural and Physiological Botany An exhibition of 30 per annum for two years and two gold medals of the value of 51 each are ghen in each of the first three subjects and one gold medal of the same value in ×– lie last named subject The second Examination takes place yearly on the first Monday in November each year Certificates are required of having passed the first Examination at least two years before and having subsequently attended course of Lectures on two of the subjects named above for which the Candidate had not presented Certificates at the first Examination of having subsequently to the first Exa- mination Dissected during six months conducted six Labours attended the Surgical Practice of Hospital during twelve months and Lectures on Clinical Surgery attended the Medical Practice of Hospital during other twelve mouths and Lectures on Clinical Medicine and subsequently to the comple- tion of this attendance on Hospital Practice of having attended to Practical Medicine in an Hospital Infirmary or Dispensary during six mouths Cer- tificate of Moral Character is likewise required Candidates will be examined in Physiology including comparative Anatomy General Pathology General Therapeutics Hygiene Surgery Medicine Midwifery Forensic Medicine Any one placed in the First Division in this Examination may go in for honours during the following week The subjects are -Physiology and Com- parative Anatomy Surgery Medicine Midwifery Scholarship of 50 per annum for two years and two gold medals of the value of each are E' ven in each of the first three of these subjects and one gold medal of the Tulue of 51 in the last named subject Boctor of Medicine The Examination takes place on the fourth Monday in November each year Certificates are required of having-1 Taken the Degree of Bachelor of
