MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 131 eaiui 1115 day before Christmas Day to the day after New Year's Day inclusive There are Examinations at the close of each Session that at the close of the Winter Session being followed by public distribution of Prizes Every Student must at the beginning of each Session make application to the Dean for written order for admission to such Lectures as he proposes to attend This order will be exchanged in the Secretary's office for cards which cards must ן afterwards be countersigned first by the Dean of the Medical Department and secondly by the respective Professors Tickets for Hospital attendance must also be brought to the Dean for signature at the beginning of each W'inter and Summer Session The attendance of the Students at Chapel and at Lectures will be marked and report of such attendance and of each Student's general character and conduct having been sub- mitted to the Principal will be forwarded to his Parents or Guardian at the end of each division of the Winter Session and at the end of the Summer Session All certificates must be obtained from the Dean at the close of each Session Students are requested to give in their Schedules to the Dean as soon as they procure them from the Hall and the College The Medical Library is open daily to all Students of this Department for the purposes of study see page 128 they also have the use of the General Library see page 217 limited number of Students are admitted to reside within the College see page 218 There is Dining Hall in the College for the accommodation of Resident and other Students of the College see page 222 Boxes are provided in the Corridors of the College in which Students may keep their Caps and Gowns Books See page 223 Stationery of all kinds may be obtained in the Secretary's office at moderate prices For the sake of convenience all examinations and exercises given up to the Professors must be written upon the College paper lerks loner iiliiitfi
