MEDICAL DEPARTMENT Ill The Medical Examinations will begin on Monday April 7th 1850 The names of Candidates must be given in to the Principal before one o'clock on Monday March 24 after which hour no names will be received SUBJECTS FOR EXAMINATION Jvnior Scholarships Anatomy of the Bones Muscles and Ligaments and of the Viscera of the Abdomen and Thorax General Anatomy and Physiology of the Organs of Loco- motion Digestion and Circulation Inorganic Chemistry Heat and Static Electricity Cicero de Officiis Second-Year Scholarship Anatomy Physiology Organic Chemistry Light Electricity Botany Materia Medica Senior Scholarship Medicine Surgery Midwifery Forensic Medicine Anatomy Physiology The Examination Papers in Medicine and Surgery will comprise questions on cases which have occurred in the Wards of the Hospital during the Winter Session -Attendance on Course or Courses of Lectures on Botany or Chemistry by Pupil of the Department of General Literature and Science does not prevent such Pupil if he afterwards enter as Medical Student from competing for the Medical Scholarships with Students of the same stand- ing in the Medical Department as himself
