S2 APPLIED SCIENCES Senior and Junior Classes for proficiency in the execution of some piece of work on Mechanism the subject of which is given out during the Session Every Student is expected to furnish himself with set of the simplest tools requisite for working in wood and metals In order to diminish the expense of these tools as much as possible the Student may at his option purchase them at the College and upon his leaving they will be repurchased from him at reduction depending on the condition in which they are returned Each Student is responsible for the safety of his own tools Section II MUSEUMS Museum of King George the Third Curatory COCK Esq Her Majesty the Queen having been graciously pleased to confer upon King's College the valuable Collection of Me- chanical Models and Philosophical Instruments formed by His Majesty King George the Third suitable room has been fitted up for its reception Extensive additions have been made to this Museum by the Council and by the donations of private individuals and the Calculating Machine of Mr Babbage has been deposited in it by the Commissioners of Her Majesty's Woods and Forests The Museum is open to Students daily from 12 to 12 Wednesday excepted and to visitors every Saturday during Term from Ten to Four o'clock Valuable collections of Minerals of Geological specimens and of Chemical productions both natural and artificial as
