students' books cats and gowns 195 STUDENTS' BOXES FOR BOOKS CAPS GOWNS fce With the view of enabling every Student effectually to take care of his Books Cap and Gown and other articles belonging to him boxes are placed in the Corridors leading out from the Entrance Hall and in the Lobby leading to the Anatomical Department II Student may engage one of these boxes for the period of his Academical Residence provided this does not exceed four years for the sum of Ten Shillings payable upon the key being delivered to him Of this sum Five Shillings will be returned to the Student upon his leaving College and giving up possession of his box provided the key thereof be duly returned but if the key be not returned before the Student leaves College the Five Shillings will be forfeited III Each Student Will be required to pay for any injury which his box may sustain but no Tradesman must be brought in to repair such injury without an order from the Secretary's Office IV duplicate key of each box is kept by the Secretary In order more effectually to protect the property of Students no other boxes except those provided by the College will be permitted after December 31 1849 VI For the use of these boxes application must be made to the Secretary
