172 THE SCHOOL jfust £1 130 £rf ularsf 1p9 Two Scholarships each year of £30 each tenable for three years These Scholarships are open to all Pupils who having been five complete Terms in the School were not eighteen years of age on the 1st of January preceding the election One Scholarship to be given for proficiency in Classics an Examination in the first three Books of Euclid in Arithmetic and in Algebra as far as Simple Equations having first been satisfactorily passed The other Scholarship to be given for proficiency in Mathe- matics an Examination in one Greek and one Latin author to be fixed by the Head Master having first been satisfactorily passed These two Scholarships are tenable together ffu11u Tlass rfjolarsfttps Two Scholarships each year of £20 each tenable for two years These Scholarships are open to all Pupils who having been in the School four complete Terms were not sixteen years of age on the 1st of January preceding the election One Scholarship to be given for proficiency in Classics an Examination in the first Book of Euclid in Arithmetic and in the first four rules of Algebra having first been satisfactorily passed The other Scholarship to be given for proficiency in Mathe- matics an Examination in one Greek and one Latin author or in one Latin and in one French and one German author having first been satisfactorily passed These two Scholarships are tenable together Onto Class £ rf 0la16f 1ps One Scholarship each year of £10 tenable for two years These Scholarships are open to all Pupils who having been in the School three complete Terms were not fifteen years of age on the 1st of January preceding the Election
