132 MEDICAL DEPARTMENT the highest Student in the Examination Certificates of Honour ill be given to such students in each class as the respective Professors shall consider entitled to receive them Two Medical Clinical Prizes one of for the Winter Ses- sion and the other of for the Summer Session and two Surgical Clinical Prizes of the same value ill be given for the best examination upon the case3 treated of in the Hospital and upon the subjects discussed in the Clinical Lectures de- livered during the Winter and Summer Sessions respectively All Students occasional as well as matriculated will be admitted to contend for these Prizes provided they have at- tended at least one and not more than three courses of lect uiv י on Anatomy or Physiology and not more than two courses on the other subjects taught in the College Candidates must also have regularly attended the weekly Examinations in the several classes during the preceding Session The next Examination for Prizes in the subjects of the Winter Session will commence on Monday April 8th 1850 Candidates must deliver their names to the Dean not later than one o'clock on Thursday March 23th specifying the subjects in which they wish to be examined the date of their entrance to the College and the number of Coin- they have attended upon each subject in which they wish to be examined The next Examination for Prizes in the subjects of the Summer Session will commence on Monday July 22d 1850 Candidates are required to deliver their names to the Dean in the manner described in the preceding clause before one o'clock on Monday July 15th 1850 Section XII Regulations the Examination and Appointment of Clinical Clerks Dressers Physicians' Assistant and Iluitse Surgeon Λ'β No Student shall under any circumstances be admitted as candidate for any of the above oilices whose character or
