Λ1 GENERAL LITERATURE AND SCIENCE THE ASSOCIATESHIP Students who have pursued their studies in this Department with credit for three years who have been regular in their attendance at Chapel and at the Divinity Lectures and have also attended two extra Courses of Lectures are entitled to be recommended to the Council tor election as Associates of King's College See 178 for the privileges of an Associate One of these Extra Course3" must be course of three Terms in Hebrew or in one of the modern European or Oriental languages taught in the College and no Certificate of having attended the other necessary Extra Course will be considered available for this Diploma unless testifying to Student's attendance upon the particular study during at least one entire Course or during two complete Terms in cases where the Lectures are not given by Courses The term of study in the College required to gain the Associateship is reduced to two years in the case of those Students who have previously passed two years either in King's College School or in one of the Schools in Union and who had reached the head form of that School before leaving it Students of this Department who have obtained the Di- ploma of an Associate are entitled to enter the Theological Department with the view of becoming Candidates for Holy Orders See Theol Dep page 41 PEES The Fees for Matriculated Students amount to 91 per term including all charges for stationery Arc Upon entrance the fees for the first two Terms must be paid in advance in addition to the following £1 10 Matriculation Fee Library tor One Year 10 Cap and Gown The Calendar £3 14 After the first year the Library Fee is 366 per Term
