ΙόΟ the school One Scholarship to be given for proficiency in Classics an Examination in the first three Hooks of Euclid in Arithmetic and in Algebra as far as Simple Equations having first been satisfactorily passed The other Scholarship to be given for proficiency in Μ at he- matics an Examination in one Greek and one Latin author to be fixed by the Head Master having first been satisfactorily passed These two Scholarships are tenable together £rronu Class £c 0h1r6f ips Two Scholarships each year of £20 each tenable for two years These Scholarships are open to all Pupils who having been in the School four complete Terms were not sixteen years of age on the 1st of January preceding the election One Scholarship to be given for proficiency in Classics an Examination in the first Book of Euclid in Arithmetic and in the first four rules of Algebra having first been satisfactorily passed The other Scholarship to be given for proficiency in Mathe- matics an Examination in one Greek and one Latin author or in one Latin and in one French and one German author having first been satisfactorily passed These two Scholarships are tenable together Cljiiii Class £1ljolar6f 1p6 One Scholarship each year of £10 tenable for two years These Scholarships are open to all Pupils who having been in the School three complete Terms were not fifteen years of age on the 1st of January preceding the Election ן The Examination for these and the succeeding Scholarships will embrace both Classics and Mathematics 1th French and all other subjects taught in the School
