THE SCHOOL 119 ireek Iambics Translate Shakspeare King Henry Act Sc from- My duty to you both "- down to And bless us with her former qualities The Latin Verses must not be less than one hundred lines in length nor more than one hundred and fifty The Exercises must all be delivered to the Secretary of King's College before o'clock on Friday June 1849 after which hour no exercise will be received The Author is required to conceal his name and to distin- guish his Composition by some motto sending at the same time his name sealed up under cover bearing the same motto Section VI SCHOLARSHIPS The following Scholarships are given annually under the regulations annexed to each Good conduct and competent knowledge of such subjects in Divinity as shall be previously fixed upon are indispensable for the admission of cany Student or Pupil to be candidate for Scholarship in this College Every Scholarship is held subject to forfeiture for mis- conduct In case there should be no candidate of sufficient merit in any year the Scholarship of that year will not be awarded first Class rijolarsilip Two Scholarships each year of Ā£30 each tenable for three years These Scholarships are open to all Pupils who having been five complete Terms in the School were not eighteen years of age on the 1st of January preceding the election This restriction as to age for these Scholarships will not come into operation until after the Examinations for 1849
