medical department Section XVI university degrees Students of King's College will be admitted to Examination for Degrees in Arts and Medicine and for the honours exhibi- tions and scholarships conferred by the Senate of the Univer- sity of London By regulation of the University of Edinburgh three out of the four years of study required by that University for its degree of may be passed in studying at the Medical School of King's College Section XVII Regulations of the University of London respecting Degrees No Candidates are admitted to any of the Examinations unless they have previously aid the required fees to the Registrar and if the Candidate fails to pass the Examination the fee shall be returned to liim All required Certificates must be transmitted to the Registrar at least fourteen days before the Examinations begin Matriculation The Matriculation Examination takes place yearly commencing on the first Monday in July No Candidates admitted unless they have produced certificates of having completed their sixteenth year and none will be approved by the Examiners unless they show competent knowledge in Classics including the English Language History and Geography Mathematics and either Natural l'hilo- sophy or Chemistry Bachelor of Medicine The first Examination takes place on the first Monday in August each year Certificates are required of having completed their nineteenth year taken Degree in Arts at any University in the United Kingdom or passed Matri- culation Examination subsequently studied at recognised Medical School for two years Dissected during nine months attended course of Practical Chemistry attended to Practical Pharmacy attended course of Lectures on four of the subjects in the annexed List -Descriptive and Surgical Anatomy General Anatomy and Physiology Comparative Anatomy Patho-
