120 Μ EDICAL DEPARTΜ Ε Ν Τ The next Examination for Prizes in the subjects of the Winter Session will commence on Monday March 20th IS 10 Candidates must deliver their names to the Medical Librarian not later than four o'clock on Monday the 19th of March specifying the subjects in which they wish to be examined the date of their entrance to the College and the number of Courses they have attended upon each subject in which they wish to be examined The next Examination for Prizes in the subjects of the Summer Session will commence on Monday July 9th 1849 Candidates are required to enter their names with the Librarian in the manner described in the preceding clause before four o'clock on Mondav Jul ν 1849 Section XII Regulations for the Examination and Appoint ment of Clinical Clerks Dressers Physicians' Assistant and House Surgeon No Student shall under any circumstances be admitted as candidate for anv of the above offices whose character or conduct shall not have been approved of by the medical officers generally On the occurrence of vacancy in any of the above offices notices thereof shall be posted one week before the examina- tion of candidates to fill such vacancy Candidates must send in their names to the Secretary of the Hospital at least the day before that appointed for the examination Examinations of candidates to fill all the above offices shall be held during the last week in April and the last week in October of each year The appointments shall severally take effect from the 1st May and the 1st November respectively fol- lowing In case of vacancy occurring in the meantime from some unavoidable cause such vacancy shall be temporalily filled up by the medical officers after the usual examination All examinations shall be held in the Professors' Common loom at King's College
