MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 107 and by the Society of Apothecaries he may do so by following the subjoined course of study First Winter Session First Slimmer Session Second Winter Session Second Suinme Session Third Winter Session Descriptive Anntomy Ί ractical General Anatomy and Anatomy l'liysiology Chemistry Materia Medica Botaiiy This M1bje may he studied in the Second Summer Pescriptive Anatomy Vpnujtical General Anatomy and at my Physiology Medicine Surgery Midwifery ו Hotany if it was not studied in the First Summer I'oien ic Medicine Practicnl Midwifery Descriptive Anatomy "lpractical General Anatomy and anatomy Physiology Medicine Surgery Midwifery Practice of the Hospital 'and Clinical Lectures Students who are intended for the medical service of the Army or Navy must attend three Courses of Medicine and three Courses of Surgery and consequently Course of each in the First Winter in addition to the Courses presented above They also require Certificates of Chemical Manipula- tion of six months of Practical Pharmacy and of Course of Comparative Anatomy or Natural History These may all be obtained in the Second Summer Session but it is more advisable to take Chemical Manipulation and Practical Phar- maey with Hotany in the First Summer Session Students who intend to prepare themselves for the Fellow ship of the College of Surgeons require additional attendance in the class of Chemical Manipulations and that three years at least shall have been passed in one or more of the recognised Hospitals or Schools of London All Students are expected to attend the Weekly Examinations in the several Classes and are recommended to avail themselves of the assistance of the Medical Tutor
