medical department 97 Forensic Medicine These Lectures treat at full length of the legal and medical relations of each question in Forensic Medicine including Toxicology The Course is illustrated by drawings prepara- tions and tables and by numerous examples from recorded trials At the end of the Course few Lectures are given on the Public Health XL Comparative Anatomy and Physiology First Division of the Course -On the forms habits and gene- ral organization of the different classes composing the animal creation -This division of the Course is equivalent to the Course of Lectures on Natural History required by the Army Medical Board Second Division of the Course -Comparative Physiology This division qualifies for examination at the University of London The subject will be illustrated by an extensive series of diagrams and by the preparations and specimens contained in the Museums of Anatomy Comparative Anatomy Zoology and Geology belonging to the College XIΪ Demonstrations in Chemical Manipulation These Demonstrations commence with the Summer Session and terminate about the middle of June The instruction given is comprised in thirty lessons of two hours each and is so arranged that each Student performs the operations which are in most frequent use in the Laboratory for the purposes of analysis or research To facilitate the course of study the Pupils arc divided into groups each pur- suing distinct plan of operations As the keeping of accurate notes is quite as important as the performance of the experiments themselves every Student
