G2 APPLIED SCIENCES SCHOLARSHIPS Good conduct and competent knowledge of such subjects in Divinity as shall be previously fixed upon are indispensable for the admission of any Student or Pupil to be Candidate for Scholarship in this College Every Scholarship is held subject to forfeiture for mis- conduct In ease there should be no candidate of suflicient merit in any year the Scholarship of that year will not be awarded ID lb in its £rf 0Iarsf 1p One of £30 in each Tear This Scholarship is open to all Matriculated Students of this Department who have completed three Terms as well as to all Students who have left the College or who have be- come Associates at the close of the Easter Term preceding each Examination The next Examination will take place on Thursday October 21st 1847 on the following subjects The Pentateuch Psalms xvi xxii xlv lxxii in Hebrew or in German at the option of Candidates from this Department The Gospel according to St Mark in Greek Bishop Pearson on the Creed Article 11 The Apology of the Church of England by Bishop Jewell The Book of Common Prayer The names of all Candidates must be sent to the Principal before three o'clock on Thursday 7th October next after which hour no name will be received No Student can be elected to this Scholarship more than twice The following will be the subjects for Examination in October 1848 The Historical Books of the Old Testament with Blunts Undesigned Coincidences
