94 MEDICAL DEPARTMENT The Apology of the Church of England by Bishop Jewell The Book of Common Prayer The names of all Candidates must be sent to the Principal before three o'clock on Thursday October 7th next after which hour no name will be received No Student can be elected to this Scholarship more than twice The following will be the subjects for this Examination in 1848 The Historical Books of the Old Testament with Blunt's Undesigned Coincidences The Acts of the Apostles in Greek Butler's Sermons II III XIII XIV The Book of Jonah in Hebrew or in German at the option of Candidates from this Department Hooker Books and II The Book of Common Prayer Senior itrljolarsfttye One in each year of £10 tenable for Three Years These Scholarships are open to all Matriculated Students of this Department being also Perpetual Pupils of the Hos- pital vho have completed their third Winter Session but have not exceeded their fourth Academical Year Each Candidate must have previously passed good Examination in the His- torical Books of the Old and New Testament and in Butler's Analogy £eronD Yrar rfjularsfjips One in each year of £30 tenable for Two Years These Scholarships are open to all Matriculated Students of this Department being also Perpetual Pupils of the Hospital who have completed their second Winter Session but have not exceeded their third Academical Year This Scholarship can be held only so long as the Student continues Student of Kind's
