medical department 9li II -1 Of the importance of Christianity Of the supposed presumption against Revelation considered as miraculous Of the particular evidence of Christianity There will this year be given Third Prize of the value of ten pounds in books The subjects for the Divinity part of this Examination will be in 1848 The Acts of the Apostles The Epistles to the Hebrews Bishop Butler's Analogy Part Chap vi Part II Chap ii vii SCHOLARSHIPS Good Conduct and competent knowledge of such subjects in Divinity as shall be previously fixed upon are indispensable for the admission of any Student or Pupil to be Candidate for Scholarship in this College Every Scholarship is held subject to forfeiture for mis- conduct In case there should be no Candidate of sufficient merit in any year the Scholarship of that year will not be awarded Dtbtmty cf 0Ian Ijip One of Ā£30 in each year This Scholarship is open to the Matriculated Students of this Department who have completed one Winter Session as well as to all Students who have left the College or who have become Associates at the close of the Session preceding each Examination The next Examination will take place on Thursday Oct 21st 1817 on the following subjects The Pentateuch Psalms xvi xxii xlv lxxii in Hebrew or in German at the option of all Candidates from this Department Bishop Pearson on the Creed Article II
