medical department 91 Section VIII endowments scholarships and prizes 3Lcatfjc9' lEn&otoment The interest of 300 bequeathed by the late Lcathes Esq is applied annually in the purchase of large Bible and large Prayer-Book which are given to the two Medical Students who are found most worthy of the same for their proficiency in religious knowledge and for general good con- duct All Matriculated Students may be Candidates for these Prizes They must produce Certificates of regular attendance at the College Chapel The next Examination will take place on Thursday October 14 1847 upon the following subjects The Gospel of St Mark The Church Catechism The Thirty-nine Articles Articles XXV XXVII XXVIII The names of all Candidates must he given in to the Prin- cipal before one o'clock on Thursday October and after this hour no name will be received The following will be the subjects for this Examination in October 1848 The Gospel of St Luke The Church Catechism The Thirty-nine Articles-those lectured on by the Principal during the Easter Term of 1848 512Har1teforl1 Hn&otomcnt These Prizes were founded by the Rev Dr Warneford for the encouragement of the study of Theology among the Matriculated Medical Students of King's College
