THE SCHOOL 113 fFiftf dTlass $ri 0Iav6f tp6 One Scholarship each year of £7 tenable for two years Tliis Scholarship is open to all Pupils below the Under Third Class who having been two complete Terms in the School were not thirteen years of age on the 1st of January preceding the Election Jriiti laes £rf 0larcf tp6 One Scholarship each year of £6 tenable for two years This Scholarship is open to all Pupils below the Second Class who having been one complete Term in the School were not twelve years of age on the 1st of January preceding the Election These Scholarships can be held so long as Pupil remains in the School or so long as he pursues his studies at King's College or at cither of the Universities of Oxford or Cambridtre Any Pupil holding Junior Scholarship must resign the same in the event of his obtaining one of higher class- All Pupils who have been two years in the School or in one of the Schools in union with King's College and who have attained the age of sixteen are entitled to stand for the Junior Scholarships in the Department of General Literature and Science and in the Department of the Applied Sciences such candidates however if successful must immediately matri- culate at the College Scholarship obtained in the School is tenable with one in the College All Scholars will have the privilege of wearing caps and gowns Candidates must give fourteen days' notice to the Head Master previously to the Examination No Pupil above nineteen years of age on the 1st of January preceding the Election will be allowed to stand for any Scholarship
