112 THE SCHOOL JrfrouD Chios ifljuljr&fjips Two Scholarships each year of £13 each tenable for two years These Scholarships are open to all Pupils below the Upper Sixth Class who having been in the School five complete Terms were not sixteen years of age on the 1st of January preceding the Election one Scholarship to be for proficiency in Classics an Examination in the first Book of Euclid in Arithmetic and in the first four rules of Algebra having r8t been satisfactorily passed and the other to be for proficiency in Mathematics an Examination in one elementary ireek and Latin author to be fixed by the Head Master having first been satisfactorily passed These two Scholarships are tenable together iTijirit Class £d 0la1sf 1ps Two Scholarships each year of £10 each tenable for two years These Scholarships are open to all Pupils under the Fifth Class who having been in the School four complete Terms were not fifteen years of age on the 1st of January preceding the Election The Examination for these and the succeeding Scholarships will embrace both Classics and Mathematics with French and all other subjects taught in the School -ffouitf Class rrfjuhnsfups One Scholarship each year of £S tenable for two years This Scholarship is open to all Pupils under the Upper Third Class who having been three complete Terms in the School were not fourteen years of age on the 1st of January preceding the Election
