THE SCHOOL Ill That the books so supplied to the Pupils shall be examined occasionally and should any be found missing or wilfully defaced the same shall immediately be made good at the expense of the party having had the use thereof The Pupils arc desired to return their books on finally leaving the School books not so returned will be charged for at the full price For information respecting the residence of Pupils in Lon- don see page 123 SCHOLARSHIPS The following Scholarships are given annually under the regulations annexed to each Good conduct and competent knowledge of such subjects in Divinity as shall be previously fixed upon are indispensable for the admission of any Student or Pupil to be candidate for Scholarship in this College Every Scholarship is held subject to forfeiture for mis- conduct In case there should be no candidate of sufficient merit in any year the Scholarship of that year xvill not be awarded ffirst JTIaso 5rf 0larsi tps Two Scholarships each year of Ā£30 each tenable for three years These Scholarships are open to all Pupils who have been seven complete Terms in the School one Scholarship to be for proficiency in Classics an Examination in the first three Books of Euclid in Arithmetic and in Algebra as'far as Simple Equations having first been satisfactorily passed and the other to be for proficiency in Mathematics an Examination in one Greek and one Latin author to be fixed by the Head Master having first been satisfactorily passed These two Scholarships are tenable together
