Highlights of the FCDO periodicals collection
Christ Church CathedralThe historical library collection of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) was transferred to King’s on permanent loan in 2007. The FCDO periodicals collection spans the seventeenth to the twentieth century and contains some rare series that, to the best of our knowledge, are not found elsewhere in the UK.
A few of these journals have been selected to show the different strengths of the collection. In particular these journals will be of interest to researchers and students of British colonial history.
