This online exhibition explores the legacy of the Second World War.
The story of the Cold War is set in the context of a decline of empire and rise of the nation state.
The exhibition features dozens of fascinating photographs and documents from the Liddell Hart Centre for Military Archives, King's College London.
Alanbrooke and Anders
Its collections cover all aspects of warfare in the twentieth century including
those of international importance and include papers such as those of FM Lord
Alanbooke, who led the British war effort throughout much of the Second World
War.
